I stole this from a friend's blog, but I liked the sound of it:

Here's to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The trouble makers. The round heads in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They're not fond of the rules and they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify them, or vilify them. But the only thing you can't do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see the genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.

November!

I haven't really felt like posting lately as I don't really feel anything exciting has happened. I was in Victoria last weekend at Tina's place. It was kind of strange to stay at her house and not even go by my parent's house (they were away), but it was cool to be right downtown. I know why she likes it there so much better than Gordan Head. So much more happening, but her place is really quite too, much quietier than our place. We did some window shopping on Saturday downtown and then went to the Ladysmith Black Mambazo concert at UVic. It was fantastic of course and worth the trip to Victoria. We tried to go out for dinner afterwards, so at about 11pm. We went to Syn first and they had closed already on a Saturday night as they said it wasn't busy enough! Oh Victoria! They sent us to The Mint as it was the only place serving food in all of Victoria. It was pretty good and I enjoyed my mojito, but pretty sad that there was only one place in Victoria to go to.
Sunday we went for a run around Beacon Hill park and then carved some fantastic pumpkins. That was super fun and it ours were each so different! We had pancakes at the Woodburns and did a few more errands before I headed home. It was a good weekend.
The only other news I have is that I now have a second job. I got hired at lululemon Metrotown for seasonal work until Jan 31. I also have an interview at oqoqo next week, but I decided to go with lululemon as they offered me a job sooner than that interview at oqoqo. I'm hoping I can still be involved with oqoqo through lululemon or at least get a job there after this seasonal work. My training is next week, but I've already done a tonne of reading on their intranet site, learning all about the company and their visions etc. Could be interesting. But I'm definitely going to be busy over the next three months with two jobs.
It's such a rainy night tonight and I'm stuck at home trying to find something good to watch on TV. Ty's out with friends at the last minute so I didn't have a chance to make other plans. Did some knitting and reading, but now I'm pretty bored. Oh well, I guess I won't have too many relaxing weekends after this one.
