Wow, it's been a long time

I cannot believe it has been almost two years since I have posted here. That is crazy ridiculous. I guess it's because I was using this blog as a way of keeping in touch with my friends and family while living abroad and travelling and now that I'm closer to family I don't need to do that as much. Also social networking sites like Twitter and Facebook have allowed me to keep in touch with much less effort.

I have been exploring a load of topics surrounding green building, living buildings, urban agriculture, food security, local eating and gardening lately. I hope to start using this blog once again but more of a place to share my thoughts and ideas and less of a "status update". I would also like to practice writing a little more (and more than just my technical emails I send at work) and this is a great place to do that.

So if anyone is still out there, I hope to contribute to this more shortly. And if not, hey, this is still a place for me to write and to organize my thoughts.
